Marketing Volunteer
Compound Yellow is seeking a Marketing Volunteer to work closely with the Creative
Director and artists/volunteers to support website updates and social media. The ideal
candidate would work approximately 5-10 per week. Ideally, the volunteer must have
experience with Squarespace, Mailchimp, and popular social media platforms. This
position is perfect for a student or tech-savvy person looking for experience in the
marketing field and/or arts field and a chance to develop connections.
Compound Yellow is a non-profit 501(c)(3) experimental art space with curatorial focus
in cultural production, sharing economies, participatory art, and interdisciplinary
explorations. Comprised of a group of artists, curators, educators, parents and engaged
citizens, Compound Yellow hosts exhibitions, interventions, performances, workshops,
lectures, gatherings, and collective imagining. We want to celebrate a culture of sharing,
connecting and collective action!
Compound Yellow is artist-run by a generous, collaborative group of local volunteers.
Duties:
The volunteer will update the website as needed and be able to post social media
updates weekly. There may be opportunity to help draft the newsletter every other
week.
Schedule: To be mutually determined. (Ability to work a flexible schedule)
