ORGANIZATION: Bristol Hospice

Bristol Hospice volunteers support patients and families with companionship, comfort measures and respite. We currently need Veterans for our Vet to Vet program and hairdressers, crafters to make memory posters and greeting cards and pet owners with certified emotional companions. We always need help with recording life stories, reading aloud, watching movies and short walks especially during the holidays. Bristol Hospice volunteering is a great opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, home health aids, social workers and spiritual care providers. Please keep in mind we can't change outcomes but we can improve a patient's quality of life with our gentle presence.
