Volunteers will be helping to distribute food to seniors in two of our low income senior housing properties. Volunteering is 1st & 3rd Monday morning of each month from 8am to 10;30am. Volunteers need to able to pick up maximum of 25lbs.
Volunteers will be required to follow all CDC recommendation which include having had 2 COVID vaccinations and completed 14 day quaratine after vaccination. Volunteers will also be required to wear a mask when enter facilty.
Training will be provided by Eastern Oklahoma Food Bank.

LIFE relies heavily on volunteers to augment the professional staff, saving the organization more than $600,000 annually in overhead expenses. In 2014 volunteers gave approximately 34,000 hours of time in service. Volunteers not only enhance LIFE's programs and the lives of those it serves, many of LIFE's services simply would not exist without the commitment and support of amazing volunteers.
