We are looking for CERTIFIED PET THERAPY TEAMS to enhance the lives of each patient they interact with. Join our team and help bring love, joy, affection and comfort to our Hospice patients. We will work with your schedule to provide visits 2-4 times a month.

If your pet is over 2 years old, meets all the usual medical requirements and has a certificate from a recognized therapy animal organization i.e., Pet Partners or Therapy Dogs International, we would love to talk with you. There is some Hospice Volunteer training required and the rewards are great.

Same COVID vaccine & booster requirements as well as proof of current CDL, car registration and insurance as travel is involved.

Mission Statement

"Our Mission is to provide services which improve the quality of life for those facing death, loss and grief by promoting HOPE, COMPASSION and COMFORT."

Volunteers play an important role in serving the patients and families of MemorialCare Hospice & Palliative Services. Our program offers many opportunities for you to share your time, talents, and compassion. There are so many areas to serve. You can work directly with hospice & palliative patients and their families or assist behind the scenes at our office. Our volunteers provide companionship, give respite to family members and caretakers, shop, run errands, haircut (licensed) services, pet therapy visits, read to a patient, play a game, write a letter, play or enjoy music. Let's talk about the many ways you can help make a difference!
