Social Isolation is deadly. Your companionship is healing to patients and families in our care.

Friendly Visitors provide companionship to HOC patients living in your neighborhood. You can choose to visit nursing homes and/or private homes.

Volunteers typically visit once per week for an hour or two. Volunteers share stories, read the paper or just sit while the caregiver takes a much needed break.

You could also share your talents like art, music, scrapbooking or bible reading. You decide how many patient assignments you wish to accept at any one time.

Hospice of Cincinnati has 750 patients across six counties. Chances are, we have a patient in your area who greatly needs the benefit of your smile!

Sign up to become a friendly visitor to an HOC patient in your neighborhood.
