We need patient volunteers with reliable transportation to pick up no more than 3 clients from their homes and chaperone them to volunteer. We partner with a local food pantry so our clients can give back to the community and put volunteer experience on their resumes. Our clients are formerly homeless and are coping with their mental health. This position involves picking up no more than 3 clients (all within 15 minutes of downtown Sarasota), work with them to prepare bags of food for families in need in town, make sure clients stay on track, give breaks when needed, motivate them and help them pick out food to bring home (food for you too!) and then return them to home. The food pantry is in a warehouse.
