Position Title : Photographer

Position Description : Photograph our adoptable dogs and cats and fosters and volunteers for marketing purposes, together and separately. Photograph organizational events such as adoption events, fundraisers, etc.

Qualifications for Position : Must have an actual camera (no Camera Phones) Should be familiar with photographing animals, people, and events. Must be able to use Facebook. Should be familiar with and willing to use FLICKR to upload photographs. Samples will be requested of previous work. Samples needed are photos of a cat, a dog, a sample of a compelling human and animal bond image, and a sports event OR special event.

Availability needed: Varies according to assignment:

1. Adoption Events: most weekends, varying hours.
   2. Fundraisers : some weekdays/nights and most weekends.
   3. Emergency Requests: Visit vet offices to photograph new pet intakes that require extra fundraising or to photograph large shelter pulls. This type of request is usually made on an emergency basis hours before arrival but will mostly be during the day.
   4. Boarding Facilities: Visit dogs and cats in the veterinary clinics and dogs in boarding facilities to get updated photos for marketing purposes.
   5. Meet with Fosters : Meet a foster in their home, park etc. Fosters will request a photographer to get photographs of their foster pet for marketing use.
