Do you have the special gift of sharing quiet time with a person who is reaching the end of their life? California Hospital has a need for volunteers who are comfortable supporting patients who are allowing a natural death to occur.
Holding a hand, listening to another's story, simply being a quiet presence for another human being. These are the gifts we are looking for.
This can be a regularly scheduled or an on call position.
Training will be provided by the hospice team, including physician, nurse, chaplain.
