Food Pantry Volunteers Needed

We are in need of volunteers to help us distribute food to vulnerable families in our region. We have several programs with all ability levels available.
- Food Pantry shopping days: Indoor event - client facing 1st Wednesday 9am-2pm and 3rd Tuesday 3pm-8pm. shopping with clients, pushing carts, check-in. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.
- Farm Wagon distribution days: outdoor event - client facing 2nd and 4th Thursdays 8:30-10:30am. Drive through distribution of perishable food items.
- Bagging and Sorting Days: indoor event - non client facing quarterly as needed. Volunteers may be any age but must have a parent or guardian if under 16 years of age.

FYCO Inc is a non-profit organization committed to empowering vulnerable populations to achieve self-sufficiency and well-being.
Description
We are a community outreach center with a current focus on food insecurity in our region. We are looking to expand our outreach to include additional programming to help families facing difficulties relating to substance use and self-harm. Our near future project includes a counseling center, a children's home and a job training and food center.

- 2 or 5 depending on the event
- During food pantry or farm wagon distributions, volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. For sorting day, volunteers of all ages are welcome but anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Closed toe shoes are required.
