Help Us Serve our New Arrivals!
Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio is seeking volunteers or groups, who can assist with picking up furniture donations around the community that will be used for local refugee housing. Can be one-time, occasional or frequent service opportunity. Also seeking drivers willing and able to drive rented moving trucks. Motor vehicle check required for drivers. Movers, Transporters and Way-Makers - Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio NEEDS YOU!
Movers/Transporters - Lift and safely deposit furniture and other household items in homes for new arrivals.
Way-Makers drive their personal vans/trucks, BUT DON'T LIFT A THING!!! (Available for transporting furniture, and materials, but are unable to lift items.)
The Refugee Resettlement Services program of Catholic Charities needs volunteers who are willing to use their vehicle for the Refugee Resettlement program.
- Transport furniture from warehouse to clients home.
- 18 years of age +
- Once or twice a month
- Must have drivers license and auto insurance
- As needed
