Mission Advisory Council Member Volunteer

Reports To:Mission Advisory Council Members will report to the Chair of the Mission Executive Board.

Job Overview: A Mission Advisory Council (MAC) Member serves as a critical community champion of Mission1Race (M1R). Members of the MAC share their gifts in service to our mission by providing M1R with their professional expertise; their diverse knowledge of constituent perspectives; their connections to resources, colleagues, their philanthropic support, and other forms of assistance.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Mission Advisory Council Members are expected to reflect Mission1Race’s values and messaging.
• MAC Members provide a means for involving people who are willing to give critical assistance but have limited time.
• MAC Members will attend Mission Advisory Council meetings.
• MAC Members assist in efforts to increase philanthropic support.
• MAC Members are expected to donate $8 monthly to support M1R.

Physical Responsibilities and Duties:

• This position requires 4 - 10 hours a week of donated hours.
• This position requires speaking and hearing.
