Pretty In Pink is looking for a long-term volunteer to assist our Patient Services Manager in carrying out the Foundation's mission to help low-income un/under insured breast cancer patients pay for their medical treatment. This Program Volunteer will assist in screening breast cancer patients for program eligibility and processing applications for financial assistance. Volunteer will be responsible for working with patients and medical providers to ensure timely completion and processing of applications.

Description

Pretty In Pink Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation in North Carolina. When breast cancer is present and insurance is not Pretty In Pink Foundation is here to help. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify to pay for surgery, chemotherapy administration, radiation therapy, office co-pays, COBRA, and insurance premiums.
Beyond the Ribbon services include prosthetic units, pre and post surgery bras, wigs, comfort bags, community resource connections and more.
