The Greater Cleveland Food Bank is recruiting volunteers to assist in our Marketplace area with a variety of duties, including:

• Assisting partner programs with loading their vehicles with food
• Organizing the walk-in cooler, freezer, and dry areas of the Marketplace
• Consolidating product onto pallets and into bins and help to make product look presentable for agencies
• Consolidating spoiled or damaged items for removal from Marketplace
• Removing excess cardboard, bins, and boxes.
• Sweeping and mopping as needed.
• Assisting Agencies as needed

- Volunteers may be required to regularly lift cases and bags of food weighing up to 50 lbs when assisting agencies with loading and organizing pallets.

Because volunteers will be assisting in the cooler and freezer, volunteers are encouraged to dress warmly and wear boots or heavier footwear.


Marketplace shifts have the following schedule:
Monday - Friday: 8-11am
