Helping others as they near the end of their lives is a profoundly moving experience. Spend some time with a hospice patient and create a special space for them-- read, review their life history, write a letter to a loved one for them, or just provide a comforting presence. As a Hospice Volunteer you are trained to support the patient and family in a variety of ways.

For patient safety: must pass a background check, drug screen and two-step TB test. If you drive to the patient's residence, you must have a current driver's license and proof of insurance. Must be 18 years or older to volunteer with Hospice patients.
