Position: Office Volunteer
Purpose: Eastside Audubon is seeking volunteers to help our staff with the ongoing needs of a busy nonprofit. Volunteers assist staff as they work to maintain the membership database, answering phones and emails, scanning and printing documents, posting on the website, posting on Constant Contact, and mailing newsletters and correspondence to our membership. Working knowledge and experience using computers is a must.
Schedule: We will work with your schedule; preferred days are Monday through Wednesday from 9am to 5pm. Due to the pandemic it is also possible to work from your home.
Reporting to: Office volunteers report to our Executive Director
Skills: Proficiency with the following programs is desirable:
Squarespace, Little Green Light, Constant Contact, Zoom, Vimeo, Office 365, and Dropbox.
Environment: Office Volunteers should be comfortable working in an office environment. Our office is located at the Northlake Unitarian Universalist Church in Kirkland, WA. Our Office Volunteers and office staff work together in the same office. We adhere to all CDC and WA State Covid-19 guidelines to include social distancing, mask wearing and sanitizing products available for and surface disinfection. Due to the pandemic it is also possible to work from your home.
Commitment: Our Office Volunteers typically volunteer one or two days per week for a 3-5 hour shift. We are flexible and are able to work with our volunteer’s schedules.

Description
Eastside Audubon believes in the importance of birds and wildlife in our communities.
Volunteers work to protect wildlife and their habitats through our Conservation Committee. Our Education Committee teaches children and adults about birds and wildlife, and their value in the community.
Our members enjoy studying our local flora and fauna through monthly field trips and programs.
