Music is something that can be such a calming presence to our patients at the end of life. Not only can this help create a calm/therapeutic atmosphere, but also allows them to reminisce about the music and that time in their life.
We would love individuals who play an instrument, sing, or even bring music to play for our patients and listen with them. Whether you are a music major needing volunteer hours or someone who just loves music, we would love to have you!!
Music therapy would take place in our patient's homes. Whether that is their private residence, an assisted living facility, nursing home, or hospice house.
