Mission Statement
Lakeside Hospice is dedicated to providing the highest quality hospice service in a caring, professional, and ethical manner that offers our terminally ill patients and their families the comfort, dignity and quality of life they deserve.
Description
Lakeside Hospice is proud to be family, locally owned and managed, and is devoted to helping our patients and their loved ones. Hospice care is received in the final stages of life when one is diagnosed with a terminal illness. The hospice philosophy emphasizes caring, not curing. The goal is to make the patient as comfortable as possible during his or her last days. In hospice, quality of life is more important than the length of time the patient has left.
Volunteers are a crucial part of our team, with opportunities to visit directly with patients and their caregivers, or to help out in the office. If you are looking for a rewarding opportunity in a place where you are valued, this placement is for you!
