ORGANIZATION: The Daily Source

We are a team of caring journalists, researchers, editors, web developers and creatives who provide high quality information to make the world a better place in a variety of ways. All work is via the computer, so you can be anywhere. You can also do the work anytime of the day or night, and a choice of weekdays and/or weekends. This position is doing research to find useful information about the various Covid vaccines for several educational websites and videos we are creating.

The websites and videos will help: A) Governments around the world to be able to choose the best vaccines for their people. B) Individuals to pick the vaccine that is best for them out of the ones available. C) Doctors and journalists to learn about the different vaccines. The websites and videos will be provided for free as a public service. The videos will be at YouTube, our websites and other mediums. We are pro-vaccination, and are not anti-vaxxers.

We are creating videos on each of the major vaccines, and also a video about all of them. Later we will also do a video that encourages people to get vaccinated and stay up to date on their Covid vaccinations in order to protect themselves, their loved ones and society's vulnerable. It will also talk about the benefits to society of keeping Covid under control via vaccinations including: a) less need for partial lockdowns when new variants emerge; b) less need for masking; c) less need for social distancing; d) less economic losses; e) less suffering and less deaths.

We are also creating similar websites about the vaccines. Here is a link to the draft design of one of them. FYI: As our web designers build a new site, they type in what's known as "dummy data," which is just random data so the pages aren't empty. Thus we can see how the design looks with content in it. We have already compiled some of the data in a file, and will add it to the site before we launch. So ignore the dummy data for now:

We are also going to do a monthly newsletter that contains the latest studies, medical journal articles and other new information related to the various vaccines. We have spent more than 200 hours researching almost all details of the vaccines and we will continue to do a lot more. Thus we are saving government officials, doctors, reporters and individuals tons of time.

The volunteer work will include a mix of the following:

A) Research information about all of the major vaccines for use on our sites and videos
B) Research potential video snippets and quotes from health experts, doctors and others
C) Read social media and discussion forums to find misinformation, and post replies to rebut it
D) Other things depending on what's needed

Prior experience isn’t needed, but the following things are required:

- Be organized and pay great attention to details

- Have a good quality memory so you can absorb information

- Be self-motivated to stay on track when working from home

- Proficient in English

We can give job references and LinkedIn endorsements to volunteers who do good quality work.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to bring the highest quality news from hundreds of sources across the Internet to the public in one place on a daily basis.

Description

We are a 21st-century news site bringing the public top quality stories, columns, editorials, photos, videos, audio, live chats and more. We are an IRS-approved 501(c)3 charitable nonprofit organization. Our site aims to be an important contributor in solving the problems facing our country and world by becoming the central resource on the Internet for intelligent, factual and accurate reporting. Whereas almost all publications rely on a small under-trained staff to produce a small number of stories of inconsistent quality, The DailySource chooses from all stories on the Internet. We present the public with high caliber information, news and analysis that has been chosen from over a thousand publications and is centralized in one site. The information people read is at the heart of improving the world. The site is designed to give the public the information they need to make solid decisions about what policies to support, to become more aware of key trends affecting the world, to find spiritual, recreational and cultural opportunities for themselves, to choose how to best spend their money, to learn about beneficial health news and more. The Internet is fast becoming the leading place for people to get their news. Come be on the cutting edge of it with us.
