"Companionship is spending time with someone or having someone to spend time with-the state of having a companion or being someone’s companion."

At Kindred Hospice we offer companionship for our senior patients and more. If you have a passion for caring for others and are looking for a way to make a difference in people's lives, consider becoming a hospice volunteer. Our volunteers are important part of our hospice care team, helping improve the quality of life for our patients, their families and their caregivers by engaging in
activities with patients: offering companionship, reading and writing letters, playing chess, card and board games, knitting and other crafts, providing support at time of death.
Volunteers are the heart of the team. Your ability to care for helping others at the end of their lives is tremendously profound and rewarding.
