The ReStore cashier position is responsible for assisting customers and providing the ultimate customer service. They are the first and the last smiling face customers will see. Duties include the following:
- Open door at 10:am
- Clean
- Restocking the cash wrap
- Greeting customers as they enter the ReStore
- Ringing up transactions while handling cash and credit card payments
- Issuing receipts
- Printing sold tags as needed

Habitat for Humanity of the NC Sandhills is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization, founded on Christian principles with a vision to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing in the Sandhills. Since 1988, this affiliate has served over 300 families in Moore and Richmond Counties through home construction and repairs. As an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, our work extends internationally to Zambia and Haiti. As a volunteer-led organization, we rely on your feedback and guidance to serve as the best partner we can be to the community. We hope you will join us in this mission.

- Orientation or Training
- Cashier position does require commitment to a set day and shift each week. Some cashiers work one day, one shift a week while other volunteers may do an all day shift or more than one shift in a week.
- Volunteers ages 16 and 17 must have a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian before their first shift.
