ORGANIZATION: Cameroon Association of Active Youths (CAMAAY)

  • 15 people are interested

Cameroon Association of Active Youths (CAMAAY) is currently seeking out volunteers to help it achieve its goals and objectives.

One of these objectives is to establish a research group based on the current Covid-19 pandemic. A group of volunteers have already created a number of research proposals that view the Covid-19 pandemic from multiple angles in Cameroon. These proposals focus on aspects of the psychological and health impacts the pandemic has had on the Cameroonian people.

In order to carry out this research, CAMAAY requires a number of research and data analysis volunteers who will act as the core of the group, overseeing:

- implementation and activity of research projects;
- ethical standards and quality, ensuring these are maintained;
- writing and referencing of research, including literature reviews;
- analysis and visualisation of qualitative and quantitative data;
- creation of novel proposals and further research.

Note: Other functions and responsibilities will emerge as the research group evolves and matures.

Individuals with backgrounds in medicine, psychology, economics, sociology, or other physical science or social sciences related disciplines are strongly encouraged to apply. Individuals with other backgrounds will be considered provided they have relevant experience. Volunteers must be 18+ and can be based remotely.
