The mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation is Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We achieve this by recruiting talented and compassionate individuals who meet with our wish children to help them to identify their one true heartfelt wish, and then they work with our staff to make it happen.

We have created an Internship / Volunteer Taskforce whose goal it is to help us identify potential volunteers to support this wonderful mission. The focus will be to attract a more diverse group of volunteers, who better represent the diversity that is seen in the children and families that we serve. This would include ethnicity, gender, religion, age, language, and general life experience.

Our four person Internship/Volunteer Taskforce will be made up of individuals (hopefully representing different areas within our two-state territory) who think creatively, have a flair for marketing, are excellent communicators and have impeccable interpersonal communications. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone seeking a project that they can really sink their teeth into and get great results for a wonderful organization.

This is a virtual Internship/Volunteer Opportunity, which requires participants to:
-have access to a computer for Zoom calls and research
-be available for a virtual weekly team meeting in addition to other email communications
-be a self starter who works just as well individually as they do within a team
