The Canada CyberSTEAM Challenge is a national competition geared towards high school and junior high students that focused on the creative application of science, technology, engineering, arts and math in real-life scenarios. Join our team of volunteers from all across Canada!

The Directors of Outreach are responsible for assisting in the advertisement of the event to their communities. Directors will be provided with contact information for schools and youth groups in their region, and will be involved in postering, and giving presentations about our event. No experience is required! International applicants welcome!

NOTE: This opportunity is open to post-secondary students only. Our mission is to cultivate scientific imagination, curiosity, and leadership abilities of youths, especially Inner City, Rural, and Indigenous populations in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) by providing hands-on learning, mentorship, and networking.

Description

We are innovating how science is exposed with our Interdisciplinary Science Competition, Youth STEAM Innovation Challenge, workshops in Medicine, Computer Science, Engineering, as well as project-based after-school programs. We also host the STEM Potential Enrichment Camp, a summer program that delves into different fields in STEM. We have also recently launched a virtual, national-level competition called the Canada CyberSTEAM Challenge.
