Thank you for your interest in The Citizen Project. The goal of our nonprofit is to represent residents to ensure their concerns are addressed.
We are looking for a full-stack developer to provide high-level application software development services or technical support. This individual must have thorough and demonstrative knowledge on or both the frontend, as well as the backend, server-side.
Responsibilities:
- Create a functionality that delivers a great user experience for complex interactions. This will include integrating with public API's and 3D technologies.
- Collaborate with peers to design, write, document, deploy and maintain software systems
- Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to design and implement user interfaces
- Provide proficiency and guidance on front-end libraries such as React, Vue, and Elm
- Collaborate with others using Sketch, Photoshop, or other design applications
- Perform usability research, ensure compatibility, and optimize performance
- Experience using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and REST API.
- Strong understanding of client-side scripting.
- Experience with AWS Amplify a must.
- Experience with Web performance optimization methods.
- Experience with debugging client-side scripts.
- Understanding of User Interface Design and the Design Process.
- Understand recent UI design and development standards and trends.

This will be accomplished by gathering and evaluating the information on issues faced by citizens and working collectively to develop a public policy proposal and action plan to address the problem.
