Are you tired of being home and want to get physically active? Habitat needs volunteers who would like to assist our "Deconstruction Crew" in doing kitchen and bathroom tear outs. The items we tear out will be sold at our ReStores which help with our mission of providing decent, affordable housing to working families in Palm Beach County! Plus we keep items out of the landfills AND provide a tax-deductible receipt to the donor. So if you are strong, professional and friendly we would love to add you to the team!
We will provide you with any PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) needed to do the job and there are always 2 people to help with heavy lifting as well as using dollies, straps etc...There are no time commitments we can work around your schedule!

Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County, an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the elimination of sub-standard housing by building simple, safe, and affordable homes for working families, in partnership with God, our community volunteers, and local organizations.
Description
Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County partners with families in need to build affordable homes together. Each Habitat partner family is required to invest a minimum of 500 sweat equity hours of their own labor into the construction of homes before being eligible to purchase their home utilizing a 30-year, no-profit, no-interest loan.
