The Special Events Coordinator (SEC) will assist with overseeing, planning, and coordinating events, such as our Vision Board Night, Healthy Workplace Seminars, National Long-Term Unemployment Webinar, and Fall and Spring Retreats and fundraising events such as our 10 th Anniversary Celebrations and our upcoming membership drive. The SEC will assist with recruiting, cultivating relationships, training, and monitoring the work of volunteers. This position requires a person who is outgoing, detail-oriented, event-planning who can form and build relationships. Opportunity is ideal for someone who is interested in non-profit development and event planning. Looking for 12 month commitment. Opportunity can be used for internship hours. LifeCareerPivoteers Inc is the new nonprofit umbrella for the Baltimore Job Hunters Support Group (BJHSG), the Maryland Healthy Workplace Task Force (MD-HWTF; our anti-workplace bullying coalition) and TEAMWORKS (our 12-week virtual outplacement program).
