To help combat soaring unemployment due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Baltimore Job Hunters Support Group (BJHSG) launched a new intensive incubator program titled TEAMWORKS (TMWKS). The primary goal of the program is to prevent laid-off workers from becoming long term unemployed by quickly equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to make the best decisions about their lives and career paths. The program is free of charge to participants. The TMWKS curriculum challenges participants to ReCharge, ReDesign, and ReBuild. The "Three Re’s" material is presented simultaneously throughout the 3-day, 18 hours per week program in a 100% virtual format. Each participant is expected to complete class and homework assignments and meet with a career coach and a counselor. In addition, participants will complete entrepreneurial training, a LinkedIn Bootcamp, and sessions on creativity, mindfulness, and maintaining good mental health.
We need curriculum writers and teachers with lesson planning expertise to help us turn our eclectic selection of textbooks into lesson plans using a specified BJHSG format. Writers will be provided with a copy of the book, which they may keep, and will be credited for their work.
Books that we would like to have converted into lessons plans include:

55, Unemployed and Faking Normal, Elizabeth White

Forgive for Good, Fred Luskin

Getting Unstuck, Timothy Butler

A Mind at Home with Itself, Byron Katie

Crucial Conversations, Patterson, McMillian and Switzler
