Contact local companies to se if they will donate gift cards to our Book Date fundraiser. You would contact local companies by phone to solicit a donation and then make arrangements to go pickup the gift card.
You would keep a spreadsheet on who was contacted, what was donated.

Description
Our vision is fostering lifelong literacy throughout the Mid-South, and we work to do that in three ways: communication and culture classes for English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL); family literacy events and information; and structured reading intervention for 4th-8th grade, to help them find the confidence and knowledge to improve reading and successfully stay and complete high school.
