We are looking for caring individuals to provide companionship to hospice patients who are on service with Caris. Companionship may involve sitting and reminiscing, reading to a patient, or playing a musical instrument to brighten their day. Patients who request volunteers look forward to their visits and a chance to share their stories with people who care. Patient care volunteers must submit an application, undergo a background check and complete orientation before they can begin seeing patients.
