JW House is a local non-profit in Santa Clara that provides housing, meals, and support to families experiencing a medical crisis. We are currently looking for groups of volunteers or community partners to support our Dinner is Served program, which provides free homecooked meals on week nights to families staying at local hospitals.
Dinner is Served volunteer groups would provide and cook 20 meals at JW House, which is located on the campus of Kaiser Santa Clara. This is perhaps a great opportunity for staff bonding, volunteer groups, community organizations, or a group of friends just looking to give back to their community.
We are currently limiting volunteer groups to 6 people. Volunteering for Dinner is Served can be done on a one-time, weekly, or monthly basis. For more information on volunteering with Dinner is Served, visit jwhouse.org or email jeanna@jwhouse.org to schedule your volunteer group!
