VETERANS, MEN AND WOMEN, FACE A REAL CHALLENGE WHEN THEY RETURN TO CIVILIAN LIFE AND SEEK TO REENTER THE CIVILIAN WORKPLACE. OFTEN THEY FIND THE PURSUIT OF A CAREER TO BE MORE DIFFICULT THAN ADJUSTING TO THE MILITARY CULTURE.

WE ARE OFFERING A NEW PROGRAM TO ASSIST SUCH VETERANS CALLED, "GO FOR LAUNCH. THI FREE SERVICE RUN BY VOLUNTEERS PROVIDES CAREER COUNSELING FOR VETERANS SEEKING EMPLOYMENT IN THE CIVILIAN SECTOR. OBVIOUSLY, GETTING A GOOD JOB ADDS UP TO A GOOD LIFE.

"GO FOR LAUNCH" NEEDS DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS TO GET THE WORD OUT TO COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS WHO HAVE VETERANS AMONG THEM SUCH AS SCHOOLS, CHURCHES, BUSINESSES, SOCIAL SERVICE UNITS. IN OTHER WORDS, VETERAN CAREER COUNSELING COORDINATORS.

CVO is headquartered in the City of Chicago and is composed of veterans organizations and allied groups supporting the well being of military families and veterans for the purpose of engaging in activities designed to maintain and improve the quality of life for these American heroes and their families who have sacrificed so much so we may all live in peace, prosperity, and good fellowship.
