Friends of Guest House is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping women successfully reenter the community after incarceration for non-violent offenses. Volunteering with us supports every aspect of our women’s journeys as they choose to move beyond who they were to become who they want to be.

We are looking for individuals to join our Workforce and Life Development team and teach in-person classes to the women in our program. Classes are held from 9am-5pm Monday - Friday. We ask that teachers commit to at least 8 weeks of teaching. We have a particular need for individuals who can teach classes on substance abuse treatment and recovery and mental health issues. Class topics include: substance abuse treatment and recovery information; women's health; mental health; effects of trauma.

Your time is valuable. Use it as a powerful tool for change at Friends of Guest House!
