WHEN SOMEONE JOINS THE MILITARY THEY ARE USUALLY WITHIN THE 18 TO 24 AGE BRACKET WITH LITTLE OR NO EXPERIENCE IN THE CIVILIAN JOB MARKET SUITABLE FOR A FULL TIME CAREER.
THEN THEY PUT IN SEVERAL YEARS IN THE MILITARY, MAYBE 10 OR 20 YEARS, WHICH HAS A DISTINCTLY DIFFERENT JOB AND CAREER ENVIRONMENT. WHEN OUR WARRIORS RETURN TO CIVILIAN LIFE THEY OFTEN FACES GREAT SHOCK AND CONFUSION TRYING TO FIND A SUITABLE CAREER AND ADJUSTING TO CIVILIAN LIFE.
OUR NEW "GO FOR LAUNCH" CAREER COUNSELING PROGRAM IS DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR AMERICA'S RETURNING MEN AND WOMEN VETERANS - ASSISTING THEM FREE OF CHARGE IN MAKING THE BEST CAREER CHOICES FOR THEM.
WE NEED DEDICATED CITIZENS FOR VETERANS CORPS VOLUNTEERS TO SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THIS VITAL NEW SERVICE WITHIN THEIR COMMUNITIES AND COORDINATE BETWEEN THE VETERANS AND OUR PROFESSIONAL CAREER COUNSELORS.

CVO is headquartered in the City of Chicago and is composed of veterans organizations and allied groups supporting the well being of military families and veterans for the purpose of engaging in activities designed to maintain and improve the quality of life for these American heroes and their families who have sacrificed so much so we may all live in peace, prosperity, and good fellowship.
