Are you passionate about food justice and feeding your community? BMAC Food Bank is looking for volunteers to harvest produce at various farms in and around Walla Walla that would otherwise go to waste. The food collected by volunteers is donated directly to BMAC Food Bank and is distributed to our neighbors in need. This program increases access to fresh, local food for those experiencing food insecurity.
No experience with farming or gardening needed.
Timing of events is variable.
Please reach out to find out about our gleaning opportunities in August and September.
Contact Dani at (509) 520-1493 for more information.
