Interested in using art as a vehicle for change in mental health? We want you in our team!

My Good Brain is an arts nonprofit organization promoting children's mental wellness. Born as a response to the increased mental health challenges of the pandemic, we want to promote the use of art to help develop effective coping skills among children and youth everywhere.

We are looking for a Video Content Creator Volunteer to join our Video Team who can help amplify our message with social media.

Responsibilities include:

1. Creating visual assets (instructional arts and crafts videos, Kids At Heart Video series) for social media
2. Make regular posts for various social platforms (IG, Facebook, TikTok)
3. Increase social media engagement on platforms, educational content, and website
4. Helping with fundraiser events to support programs

Skills:

• Experience with videography and video editing
• Experience with Canva for making images and posts
• Currently practices a creative hobby (visual, performance art, etc)
• Has some basic knowledge AND interest in mental health topics relevant to youth
• Savvy with social media platforms (YouTube, IG, Facebook, TikTok)

This is an unpaid and virtual position that can be fulfilled anywhere in the US. Can be short-term or ongoing throughout the year.
