At Kaiser Permanente Home Care of Riverside, our volunteer program is specific to our hospice/home care department. Volunteers (age 18 and older) can offer weekly visits to our home bound patients, providing companionship or respite for the family members.

Companionship comes in many forms; playing games, watching a movie, reading a book, singing, but most importantly, by just being present. We are welcoming volunteers back into the homes of our hospice patients soon and are looking for the right people to provided friendly visits. Must be dependable, compassionate, and caring.

Required commitment for volunteering is one year or 100 hours. Ages 18 and older. Hospice and Covid-19 training is provided.

Our volunteers include males and females 14 years of age and older, and represent the culturally diverse community which form our customer service area. They are trained and placed based on their skills and abilities.
