Event Chair needed! Help to end Alzheimer's disease and other dementias by working with us. We are organizing our Walk to End Alzheimer's which will take place on Saturday, October 8, 2022. Our Planning Committee are in need of all levels of skills. The Event Chair serves as the volunteer leader for the planning and execution of Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This is a great opportunity to have a huge impact on your community and build your resume at the same time!

This position is responsible for recruiting, training and leading an effective volunteer committee focused on raising revenue, increasing awareness and implementing all event activities. We do meet monthly as a whole Planning Committee and bi-monthly in our Subcommittees. The time commitment outside of meetings is expected to be about 2 hours a month, with more hours closer to Walk Day.
