Are you interested in being part of a Funding team that focuses on bringing light to the topic of sexual assault and learning how art can heal communities and transform the world? Seeking individuals to help out with grant writing and grant proposals that encompass our mission. Resilience Project needs your grant writing skills and keen insight into grant proposals.



Description:

-Ability to write for categorical, Block, Matched, and Project Grants

-Keep a record of all grants applied to and the amount received from each


Desired skill set:

-Precision with time and dates

-Able to work independently and cooperatively

-Open communication with Direct supervisor

Mission Statement

The Resilience Project uses art to invigorate a sense of Triumph in individuals who identify as Survivors of sexual assault. It is our sincere hope to create change in the community through our scholarship and art programs. We hope to encourage the presence of diverse services directed to the prevention of sexual assault, as well as celebrate the many ways that survivors are persistent after their trauma.

Description

  • To provide roadmaps and resources to survivors after trauma.

  • Create healing communities through art in particular mural based art

  • Use the attention this scholarship program garners to promote advancements for campus survivors in our community

  • Campaign for the institutional funding of Survivor support services in institutions of higher learning.

  • Celebrate the many ways that survivors are persistent after their trauma

  • Give special attention to the determination and help it takes to graduate after a campus sexual assault
