ChiEAC is dedicated to ensuring fair and equitable access to excellent education for all individuals, regardless of background or identity. We provide essential support services and actively advocate for transformative changes in the education system.

Opportunity

We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers with a passion for education advocacy and a talent for writing to contribute to our Medium page. This role is ideal for individuals who want to use their writing skills to highlight important issues, share inspiring stories, and provide valuable insights to students and the wider community.

Responsibilities

As a volunteer writer for ChiEAC, you will:

  • Create one article per week: Cover a range of education-related topics, from education reform and advocacy to practical tips and insights for students transitioning into college or navigating college life.
  • Research and write compelling content: Ensure that each article is well-researched, engaging, and informative, reflecting the values and mission of ChiEAC.
  • Collaborate with the ChiEAC team: Work closely with our team to identify key issues and themes that resonate with our audience and support our advocacy efforts.
  • Engage with the community: Help foster a supportive and informed community by responding to comments and engaging with readers on our Medium page.
