Put your office skills to good use! We are looking for a volunteer with office administration skills to help at several of our Meals on Wheels locations in Cook County, including South Chicago Heights and Proviso Township. This volunteer will be a vital part of our office team, filing, working on mailings, answering phones and more. The right volunteer will be available one to three days per week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 10am and 1pm.
Volunteers should have some office experience and experience with filing and mailings; good phone presence and a willingness to help others is a plus.
This is a casual office environment, with a small, friendly staff.

Join us for lunch!
Fight against hunger by giving back to the older adults in your community! The Community Nutrition Network needs your help serving meals at our café sites as well as delivering meals to homebound adults. These opportunities can last anywhere from 1-3 hours and are located at various sites throughout the northern Illinois area.
At The Community Nutrition Network, we strive to keep older adults and persons with disabilities an active part of their community by providing them with the support they need. Much more than a meal, our programs combat depression and isolation, offers companionship, and provides safety checks for homebound adults.
