NEXT Village SF is supporting older adults in northeast San Francisco, and we need your help! If you want to support your senior neighbors, we'd love to have you on our team.
Our members are always looking for technology support. Visits can take place over Zoom or in person. Many companies offer paid volunteer time, so you can actually volunteer during the day and still get paid! Here are some examples of the kind of tech help requests we get:
- unsubscribing from junk mail and organizing email inboxes
- troubleshooting issues with Zoom
- learning about how to use common apps on iPhone and Android phones
- setting up their computer or wifi
- setting up accessibility features (voice dictation, increasing font size, etc.)
- learning to use Google Workspace (calendar, drive, docs, etc.)
- updating computer software
- and more!
Can you help? Email liz@nextvillagesf.org or call 415-574-0156 to learn more about becoming a volunteer for NEXT Village!
