Our food justice program #FEEDTHEWEST was born in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Prior to the pandemic, Louisville's West End community was already experiencing food apartheid with only two grocery stores serving nearly sixty thousand residents. With limited hours and inconsistent stock families in this community were experiencing food insecurity at higher rates than their neighbors in east and central Louisville. Our #FEEDTHEWEST free grocery delivery program has now been in operation for one year and has grown from serving about 60 families a week to nearly 500 families weekly!!

Grocery Retrieval***Pick up donations from Trader Joe's: 4600 Shelbyville Rd. and bring them to the CTCT food justice hub to be sorted and packed.

Help sort and pack grocery shares to be delivered to the families we serve!

Help deliver groceries to families in need! This is a great opportunity to engage with the community and get to know your neighbors!!

Mission Statement
Change Today, Change Tomorrow eradicates barriers plaguing the Black community and other marginalized folks in Louisville, through access to barrier-free resources, with a focus on Food Justice, Education, and Public Health.
Description
Since it’s conception in 2019, Change Today, Change Tomorrow has been serving marginalized communities in Louisville, Kentucky. We offer numerous programs including a weekly, free grocery delivery program to those living in areas impacted by the food apartheid, Community baby showers for new and expecting mothers, summer and after school activities for youth and young adults and a weekly program focused on engaging with those experiencing homelessness. Because we are such a new organization we rely heavily on volunteers to make our programs and events a success! - We have outreach opportunities available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Shifts are broken up into 2 -4 hour increments depending on the task.
