Volunteers will help with a variety of native plant nursery activities at the LEJ (Literacy for Environmental Justice) Native Plant Nursery on Treasure Island, San Francisco, including re-planting native plants to larger pots and pruning plants which are being propagated for San Francisco native plant and natural areas sites. Detailed meeting spot and directions will be emailed to registered participants. Wear closed-toe shoes, and bring and wear Covid mask. Bring your own gloves or we can provide gloves and glove liners. Tools provided. No experience needed.

Founded in 1917, Golden Gate Bird Alliance is one of the oldest wildlife conservation organizations on the West Coast. We have a long history of inspiring and connecting people in the Bay Area with local birds, wildlife and their habitats and today play a critical role in Bay Area wildlife conservation. Golden Gate Bird Alliance has roughly 7,000 members and supporters in San Francisco, Alameda and Contra Costa counties.
