Volunteer United/AmeriCorps Seniors recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies in Martin County matching volunteer interests and skills to create a meaningful, rewarding volunteer experience.
The mission of the organization where this opportunity is located is providing temporary assistance, hospitality and case management for families with children experiencing homelessness.
Volunteers are needed to assist as a Daycenter Volunteer to answer phones, check in/out guests, attend to administrative tasks, complete daily activities reports and case management of guests. Group home knowledge or experience preferred along with social service and nonprofit experience.
Hours needed: Saturday or Sunday 8 AM - 1 PM or PM - 5 PM
Background check required at agency expense.
