We are opening up volunteer sandwich making at Divisional Headquarters and we are in search of an army of volunteers. The sandwiches made will be served from our Bed & Bread Club trucks.The Bed & Bread Club serves nearly 4,400 meals in Detroit every day to those who are most in need and vulnerable because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Each day, our drivers make their way through the streets of Detroit, traveling multiple routes and making 57 stops to feed the hungry.

Volunteer Details:

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning June 15, 2021.

  • 15 volunteer spots available for each shift.

  • Volunteer ages 16 years old and up.

  • COVID screening and temperatures taken upon entering the building.

  • Masks must be worn at all times.

  • Please wear comfortable closed toed shoes and clothes you do not mind getting a little dirty.

  • Hair nets will be supplied, or you can wear your own baseball hat.

  • Gloves and disposable aprons will be supplied.
