DEFEND is a volunteer-run nonprofit looking to reduce risks for children and vulnerable people online.

DEFEND's Tech Team (and supporting team members) is responsible for developing concepts of viability for the future of DEFEND and the world. One of those projects is the development of a NEW social media platform with age/ID verification built in from the ground up. It's called 65square. The system will be game-like and have characteristics of an MMO.

Some of the system may be developed/coded in Dart in Flutter, in iOS (Swift) and Python.

We're looking for people to develop AND to supervise. Please note which you might be interested in when you message us.

TIME COMMITMENT: 3-5 hours per week to start. (remote/virtual work)

Key Responsibilities
-Research, develop and understand our project's needs
-Write, code and develop in Dart, Swift or Python
-Manage, create and develop strategic plan and work with developers to continue building a core system
-Work with other DEFEND and 65square teams and meet regularly (around your team's own schedule) to brainstorm and develop content in line with our mission

At first this will be a volunteer position and it may turn into a paid project.

Plus, all DEFEND team members can set a goal weekly and accomplish that goal, then they will be entered to win a $40 US Amazon gift card; new draw weekly! That's one of the great programs we have for all volunteers/team members.
