The IDSGT Foundation is a 100% volunteer-based organization, and we are seeking an amazing volunteer to assist us in managing our other amazing volunteers!

You should be passionate about our cause, a good communicator, be upbeat, and have a great personality!

Our current volunteers answer calls on our senior chat line called GoldenTALK, and it can be a tough job sometimes. The Volunteer Coordinator I position is responsible to help keep our volunteers motivated and reminded of how much they are appreciated. This role is responsible for the following:

  • Responsible for content and sending out the monthly volunteer newsletter
  • Select volunteers monthly for our volunteer spotlight on our website, social media channels, and newsletters
  • Post birthday announcements and send out birthday cards/gifts (website, social media channels, and newsletters)
  • Creating and sending out appreciation certificates
  • Volunteer of the month/year selection and announcements
  • Volunteer anniversary announcements
  • Host monthly virtual volunteer hangouts and more!
