OVERVIEW

Global OffSite Care is a 501c3 nonprofit and our mission is to increase access to specialized healthcare for all by providing technology platforms to doctors and clinics around the world through Rotary Club sponsored telemedicine projects. Our initiatives include connecting partner hospitals to our telemedicine network, Global Grand Rounds/Continuing Medical Education, and global teleconsults. We currently have 12 partner countries and 18 hospitals that participate in our telemedicine network.

This position is a senior position at Global OffSite Care.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Manage volunteers

Conduct monthly staff meetings

Recruit volunteers suited to the work

Create and update position descriptions for each type of volunteer opportunity -

Create a volunteer "on boarding" process that allows them to contribute to our success quickly

Manage Global Grand Rounds team which is responsible for inviting participation in global grand rounds and supporting the presenters

Develop and track measures of success for our projects and for Global OffSite Care itself

Manage volunteer fundraising activities

Manage Director of Communications to promote and communicate Global Telemedicine programs

Maintain the operations binder

Maintain sections of an operations binder that go with each major program area so we can all find out how to do the work involved in each major area of activity

Report to the board

Update the project dashboard and present it at board meetings to show the status of Global Telemedicine activities

Make recommendations to the board as appropriate to improve the effectiveness of Global Telemedicine

Account for assets used - what tools do we need and how is the equipment being used

SKILLS

Ability to manage people that supports getting things done and enjoy getting others involved

Have a command of relevant computer software - Google tools such as Drive, Docs, Slides, MS Office, Box, Mailchimp, Zoom, etc

Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and effectively

Clear communication skills, both written and spoken

Comfortable dealing with doctors and engaging them in Global Telemedicine

Recommended Qualifications

Rotarian, Rotaractor or familiar with Rotary

Skilled in process development
