Volunteer needed to help seniors with their smart devices! Seniors require technology assistance with their smart devices such as navigating a new cell phone, downloading apps and pictures, setting up and retrieving email and voicemail, etc. This service allows seniors to connect with friends and family virtually while staying safe at home. Volunteers needed for in-person tech support at a designated location approximately two hours weekly. Need is greatest in the Monticello, Big Lake and Buffalo, MN communities.

Description

Senior Community Services Wright County HOME Program serves seniors, 60 years and older, in the communities of St. Michael, Albertville, Otsego, Monticello, Buffalo, Elk River and Big Lake, with household and outdoor maintenance to stay safely in their own homes. We help seniors with various household tasks and minor repair, outdoor services such as raking, weeding and window washing, as well as enabling them stay in touch with others with guidance in using their smart devices.
