Do you like to fact check information? Allies for Black Americans is looking for someone who is able to go through our hundreds of submitted posts to check for facts and accuracy. We are a nonprofit that teaches NON - POC about their implicit biases and how to practice anti racism. In order for our group to maintain its integrity, it is imperative that the posts our members submit are fact checked prior to being released. There are other opportunities within the nonprofit to assist with moderating our content.

Mission Statement
AFBA is a Black-led community created to provide a safe space for aspiring non-POC allies to build deeper connections with BIPOC by way of resources, anti-racism education and trauma informed care during the decolonization journey to eradicating systemic racism.
Description
Some objectives for the group include: Informing Black people of their rights within the law and how to exercise those, including what is and is not allowed by law enforcement, what the proper response is, and how to get restitution and/or disciplinary action following misconduct by law enforcement. Dispensing info and instructions for protesting, contacting lawmakers, lobbying, boycotting, and otherwise organizing and mobilizing to affect legal and changes to the system. Educating non-Black allies on how to educate other non-Blacks outside the group. This education will be provided by Admins and is not the responsibility of members of the group. The Black members in the group are not required to educate non-Black members and may tag an Admin if instruction is needed.
